Google Map

Today we reviewed how to create a map using datat from a spreadsheet. We also reviwed how to embed the code and edit it in a blog post. Then, we uploaded the embed code into our web site.

Google Map

We created a google map that contains all of our current addresses. We edited the spreadsheet information in google documents, then we uploaded it to an online tool called batchgeo. Here is the link to my map.

Social Bookmarking

We started social bookmarking with a product called diigo. It allows you to post and share sites via the cloud.

Google websites

Today we created a google web site. We used the google calendar tool, which makes it easier to view class activities. You can create single, day-long, and week-long events. We also uploaded our resume to our web site. We did this by creating a new page and uploading our document of choice. You can edit your preferences. The main purpose of this activity is to share information via the web.
