This is my voiki with my librarian philosophy. My entire philosophy wouldn't fit in the text box, so here is a link to my document. I thought that this was a pretty innovative (and fun) way to share information. It made the philosophy part less tedious. (:

This activity is most applicable to:
5. Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership

Teachers continuously improve their professional practice, model lifelong learning, and exhibit leadership in their school and professional community by promoting and demonstrating the effective use of digital tools and resources. Teachers:
c. evaluate and reflect on current research and professional practice on a regular basis to make effective use of existing and emerging digital tools and resources in support of student learning.

-This is because teachers can constantly improve their educational philosophy by effectively using innovative digital resources. (such as the voiki)

Google Map/ Virtual Field Trip

In this activity, I created a google map to serve as an itinerary for a class field trip. I chose to explore San Antonio, one of the cities of Texas that is notorious for its Hispanic culture. Some of the attractions my class would visit would be The Alamo, The Museo Alameda, and Mi Tierra Cafe and Bakery. My map is titled La historia española.

This activity is most closely idenetified with ISTE Nets 2.a

2. Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments

Teachers design, develop, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessment incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in the NETS•S. Teachers:

a.	design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity.

Google survey

My google survery consists of assessing your level of Spanish proficiency. It's a very basic survey that utilizes all of the question format options. Here is a link to my survey.

This activity is most applicable to ISTE standard 2.d: provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.
